At the ‘Think! Contemporary Preschool Exhibition’ presented by Singapore Art Museum, our young artists from Nobleland Bishan not only created but also confidently presented their work to the audience — sharing the inspirations and playful ideas behind their art.
Inspired by Nguan’s Untitled from the series Singapore, the children explored the lively world of Singapore’s wet markets and discovered beauty in the familiar sights and sounds. Through drawing, collage, and mixed media, they recreated the bustling stalls, cheerful vendors, and colourful produce that fill these spaces with energy and warmth.
Their artwork, Pasar Pop!, is more than just a portrayal of a market — it is a joyful celebration of community life. Each playful detail and smiling character reflects the harmony and togetherness that can be found in everyday moments, reminding us how simple interactions can bring people closer.
