Celebrations

National Day

We celebrated Singapore’s 60th birthday in August with great pride and joy, made even more
memorable with the strong support of our wonderful parent volunteers who helped bring this special occasion to life. The celebration provided our children with a meaningful opportunity to learn about our nation’s rich heritage and values through a series of fun, engaging, and interactive activities.

The day kicked off with an exciting parent-led storytelling session, where the children listened
intently to tales about Singapore’s history and culture. Little quizzes along the way kept everyone on their toes and sparked lively discussions among the children. Their enthusiasm and eagerness to share their answers showed just how much they enjoyed learning more about their homeland.

Next, the energy levels soared as the whole centre came together for a Singapore Dance Workout. With music filling the air and everyone moving in unison, the dance routine was a joyous expression of unity and celebration. The laughter and cheers from both children and teachers created a truly festive atmosphere.

The highlight of the day was the games and activity stations, thoughtfully planned and manned by our dedicated parent volunteers. From traditional games to hands-on crafts, the stations were buzzing with excitement as the children moved eagerly from one to another, learning teamwork, resilience, and creativity along the way.

It was a celebration filled with smiles, laughter, and pride in our nation’s journey — a day the children will surely remember as part of Singapore’s 60th milestone.
