The K1 children were inspired by the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) project’s tactile artworks while creating this piece. At the start of the process, when asked what kind of artwork we could create for the visually impaired, some children shared, “They may not be able to see, but they can use their hands to touch.”
Based on this idea, we decided to create faces with different expressions, allowing visually impaired audiences to experience the artwork through touch and feel the emotions expressed in each piece.
